Natalie Malka's first video in front of a camera didn't feel like a first. That was the goal from the start — I knew the moment I saw her online that she'd be a natural on screen, and this project was where we proved it. That first video went on to shape how she's shown up in every piece of content since. The cottage itself carried a lot of character — arches, distinct rooms that each felt like their own space, held together by a clean, contemporary base.
A wonderful cottage in Queen's Park
Getting it on film properly meant working through one of the more difficult shoots I've done. We filmed through autumn, when the weather never held still. Grey skies would roll in without warning, light shifting hour to hour. Getting the shots this property deserved meant going back again and again, waiting out the sky, and refusing to settle for anything less than what the house actually looked like at its best. When this video came out, there weren't many like it in the market. It landed as one of the first of its kind — and it set the tone for what Natalie's on-camera presence would become.
